Section 2. Definitions

The following defined terms are used throughout these Terms and Conditions. Where the context requires it, the singular includes the plural and vice versa.

“Account” means a registered user account created by a Client on the Site, which allows the Client to place orders, track deliverables, and access purchase history.

“Client” means the individual or entity who purchases, or who is the intended beneficiary of, one or more of the Services offered by ResumeCroc. Where a Client purchases on behalf of a third party, the Client warrants that they have authority to bind that third party to these Terms.

“Deliverables” means the specific written documents, files, or other outputs produced by ResumeCroc for a Client pursuant to an Order. Deliverables include, without limitation, resume documents, curriculum vitae, LinkedIn profile text, cover letters, and any revision of the foregoing produced within the applicable revision window.

“Order” means a purchase of one or more Services placed by a Client through the Site’s checkout process, confirmed by a payment receipt and/or order-confirmation email from ResumeCroc.

“Services” means the professional resume writing, CV writing, LinkedIn profile optimisation, federal resume writing, military resume writing, and free resume review services offered by ResumeCroc on the Site, as further described in Section 4.

“Site” means the website operated by Splash Sol LLC at https://resumecroc.com/, including all subpages, subdomains (if any), and digital properties associated with the ResumeCroc brand.

Section 3. Eligibility & Accounts

3.1 Age requirement. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Site or purchase our Services. By using the Site or placing an Order, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you may not use the Site or purchase Services without the express consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must also agree to these Terms on your behalf.

3.2 Accurate information. When creating an Account or placing an Order, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself and your professional background. You further agree to update that information promptly if it changes. ResumeCroc relies on the information you supply to produce Deliverables; providing false or misleading information may result in a suspension of your Account and will void any guarantee described in Section 9.

3.3 Account security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account login credentials (username and password). You agree to notify us immediately at info@resumecroc.com if you become aware of any unauthorised access to or use of your Account. ResumeCroc will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your Account credentials. You may not share your Account with, or transfer it to, any other person.

3.4 One Account per person. Each Client may maintain only one Account. ResumeCroc reserves the right to merge, suspend, or terminate duplicate accounts at our sole discretion, and to retain any amounts already paid in connection with a terminated Account where Services have already been delivered.

3.5 Account termination by us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, provided false information, engaged in prohibited conduct (see Section 13), or for any other reason that in our reasonable judgment justifies termination. Where Services have not yet commenced, we will refund any amounts paid for those unstarted Services.

Section 5. Orders, Pricing & Payment

5.1 Placing an order. Orders are placed through the Site’s checkout process. An Order is deemed accepted when you receive an order-confirmation email from ResumeCroc. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any Order at our discretion, including where a product is mispriced or where we reasonably suspect fraud. If we cancel an Order before work has begun, we will refund the full amount paid.

5.2 Pricing. All prices are displayed on the relevant service pages at the time of purchase and are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless expressly stated otherwise. Prices may change from time to time; however, the price applicable to your Order is the price displayed at the time you complete checkout.

5.3 Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment processor. When you pay through our Site, you are subject to Stripe’s own terms of service and privacy policy in addition to these Terms. ResumeCroc does not store your full card number or CVV at any point. By submitting your payment details you authorise us to charge the total Order amount to your nominated payment method.

5.4 Accepted payment methods. We accept all major credit and debit cards supported by Stripe, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Availability of specific payment methods may vary.

5.5 Currency and taxes. All transactions are processed in USD. You are responsible for any currency conversion fees charged by your bank or card issuer. Prices shown on the Site do not include sales tax, VAT, or other taxes unless expressly stated. Where applicable law requires us to collect tax, it will be added at checkout.

5.6 Receipts. An order-confirmation email is sent automatically to the email address you provide at checkout. This email constitutes your receipt. Please retain it for your records. If you require an invoice or additional documentation, contact us at info@resumecroc.com.

Plain English summary: Pay through our site using Stripe. Prices are in US Dollars. Your card details are never stored by us. You will receive an email receipt immediately after purchase.

Section 6. Delivery & Turnaround

6.1 Standard turnaround. Our standard turnaround times are specified on each service page and in your order-confirmation email. Turnaround times are measured in business days and begin only once we have received all required materials from you (see Section 7). “Business days” means Monday through Friday, excluding US public holidays.

6.2 Expedited options. Where an expedited or rush turnaround is available for a given service, it will be displayed at the point of purchase and will incur an additional fee. The fee and revised turnaround time will be confirmed in your order-confirmation email.

6.3 What counts as delivered. A Deliverable is considered “delivered” when we send the completed document to the email address associated with your Account or Order. It is your responsibility to ensure that your email address is accurate and that our email is not captured by a spam or junk filter. ResumeCroc is not liable for delivery failures caused by incorrect email addresses or filtering by your email provider.

6.4 Delays caused by us. If we are unable to meet a confirmed delivery deadline for reasons attributable to us, we will notify you promptly by email. In such cases, we will work with you to agree on a revised delivery date and, at our discretion, may offer a partial refund or other remedy. This does not affect your statutory rights.

6.5 Force majeure. We will not be liable for delays or failures in delivery caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power failures, internet outages, pandemic-related disruptions, or other force-majeure events. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as practicable and resume delivery as soon as the cause is resolved.

Section 7. Client Cooperation

7.1 Providing accurate information. The quality of your Deliverables depends directly on the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide. You must supply us with a truthful account of your professional history, qualifications, skills, and career goals. This includes, without limitation, employment dates, job titles, responsibilities, educational credentials, and any awards or certifications you hold.

7.2 No fabrication of credentials. ResumeCroc will not fabricate, exaggerate, or misrepresent any aspect of your professional background. We will write compellingly and strategically about the genuine achievements and experience you provide, but we cannot and will not invent qualifications, roles, or accomplishments that you have not claimed. Any information you provide that is later found to be false is solely your responsibility.

7.3 Timely responses. Where we ask you to supply additional information, complete an intake questionnaire, review a draft, or approve a Deliverable, you should respond within five (5) business days. Delays caused by your failure to respond within a reasonable time will extend our delivery obligations accordingly. ResumeCroc is not liable for any deadline you may have with a prospective employer that is missed because of delays attributable to you.

7.4 Intake questionnaire. For most paid Services, we will send you an intake questionnaire after you place your Order. This questionnaire collects the detailed information our writers need to begin work. Your turnaround clock does not start until we receive your completed questionnaire.

7.5 Accuracy warranty. By submitting information to ResumeCroc, you warrant that the information is accurate, complete, and not misleading. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ResumeCroc from any claims, losses, or liabilities arising from inaccurate or false information you provide (see Section 17).

Section 8. Revisions Policy

8.1 Revision rounds included. Each paid Service package includes a defined number of revision rounds, which is specified on the relevant service page and in your order-confirmation email. A “revision round” means one consolidated set of changes requested by you and one corresponding revised version of the Deliverable delivered by us.

8.2 Revision window. Revision requests must be submitted within fourteen (14) calendar days of the initial Deliverable being sent to you. Revision requests received after this window may be declined or may be treated as a new Order at the applicable rate.

8.3 What qualifies as a revision. A revision is a request to adjust, refine, or correct content within the scope of the original Order — for example, changing the order of bullet points, adding a recently obtained qualification, adjusting the tone of a section, or correcting a factual error based on information you provide. Revisions must be specific, consolidated into a single communication, and relate to the Deliverable as originally scoped.

8.4 What does not qualify as a revision. The following are not covered by the included revision rounds and will be quoted separately if you wish to proceed: (a) a request to change the target role, industry, or career level from the one originally specified; (b) a complete rewrite of the document because your circumstances have materially changed since the Order was placed; (c) requests that would require us to misrepresent your background; or (d) requests submitted after the revision window has closed.

8.5 Additional revisions. Additional revision rounds beyond those included in your package may be purchased at the prevailing rate. Contact us at info@resumecroc.com to request a quote.

Section 9. 45-Day Interview Guarantee

9.1 What the guarantee covers. ResumeCroc offers a 45-day interview guarantee on selected paid packages. If, within 45 calendar days of receiving your final Deliverable, you have not secured an interview for a role that matches your stated target job level, title, and industry, we will provide one complimentary rewrite of your resume and, where applicable, a refresh of your LinkedIn profile text.

9.2 Eligibility conditions. To be eligible for the guarantee, all of the following conditions must be satisfied:

  • You purchased a qualifying paid package (eligibility is indicated on the relevant service page at the time of purchase).
  • You completed and returned your intake questionnaire fully and accurately within 5 business days of your Order.
  • You applied to a minimum of ten (10) positions during the 45-day period that are reasonably aligned with the target role, level, and industry you specified at the time of purchase.
  • You used the Deliverable (not a previous or altered version) when applying for those positions.
  • You submit your guarantee claim within 5 business days of the end of the 45-day period, along with evidence of at least 10 job applications (e.g., application confirmation emails, dates, and employer names).
  • The information you provided to us was accurate and complete.

9.3 What the guarantee provides. Where a valid guarantee claim is accepted, we will deliver one (1) full rewrite of your resume and, where your package included LinkedIn profile optimisation, one (1) LinkedIn profile refresh. The guarantee rewrite will be scoped to the same target role and industry as the original Order. This is the exclusive remedy under the guarantee; no cash refund is owed solely on the basis of not receiving an interview.

9.4 Conditions that do not qualify. The guarantee does not apply in the following circumstances:

  • You are targeting a career change into a field, industry, or seniority level substantially different from your documented experience — the guarantee presupposes a realistic match between your background and your target roles.
  • The positions you applied to are not reasonably aligned with the target role and level you specified in your intake questionnaire.
  • You supplied false, incomplete, or misleading information in your intake questionnaire or subsequent communications.
  • You modified the Deliverable materially before using it to apply for positions.
  • Your guarantee claim is submitted outside the claim window described in Section 9.2.
  • The Service purchased was the Free Resume Review (Section 4) or any add-on service that does not include the guarantee.

9.5 How to submit a guarantee claim. To submit a claim, email info@resumecroc.com with the subject line “45-Day Guarantee Claim”, your Order number, and evidence of at least ten job applications as described in Section 9.2. We will acknowledge your claim within two business days and respond within five business days.

Our commitment: We stand behind our work. The 45-day guarantee is our promise that, when you use your Deliverable and apply diligently to realistic roles, you will get results. See our FAQ page for commonly asked questions about the guarantee.

Section 10. Refunds & Cancellations

10.1 Pre-work cancellations. If you cancel your Order before a writer has been assigned and before any work has commenced on your Deliverable, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid. To cancel an Order, contact us at info@resumecroc.com with your Order number as soon as possible.

10.2 Cancellations after work has commenced. Once a writer has been assigned and work has commenced (which typically occurs within one business day of receipt of your completed intake questionnaire), we are unable to offer a full refund. At our discretion, we may offer a partial refund that reflects the proportion of work not yet completed. The amount of any partial refund is determined by us acting reasonably.

10.3 Post-delivery refunds. After a Deliverable has been delivered to you, refunds are available only in the following circumstances: (a) where the Deliverable materially fails to reflect the information you provided in your intake questionnaire and we are unable to correct the failure through the revision process; or (b) where a valid guarantee claim (Section 9) has been submitted and accepted, and we are unable to deliver the guarantee rewrite within a reasonable time. In all other cases, post-delivery refunds are not available, as professional writing services are a personalised service.

10.4 How to request a refund. Refund requests must be submitted by email to info@resumecroc.com with your Order number and a description of the issue. We will acknowledge your request within two business days and aim to resolve it within ten business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

10.5 Chargebacks. Initiating a chargeback through your bank or card issuer without first contacting us to seek resolution is a breach of these Terms and may result in suspension or termination of your Account. We take chargebacks seriously and will contest any chargeback that we believe is not warranted. If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first — we are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly.

10.6 Statutory rights. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or exclude any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law. If any provision of this Section 10 conflicts with a right you have under applicable law, the applicable law will prevail.

Plain English summary: Cancel before we start — full refund. Cancel after we start — partial refund at our discretion. Post-delivery refunds are available only in specific circumstances. Contact us first before disputing a charge with your bank.

Section 11. Intellectual Property

11.1 Ownership of your Deliverables. Upon full payment of all amounts due for an Order, and subject to your compliance with these Terms, ResumeCroc assigns to you all right, title, and interest in the final Deliverable(s) produced specifically for you under that Order. You may use your Deliverables for personal career purposes, including submitting them to employers, posting them on job boards, and sharing them in connection with genuine job-search activities.

11.2 ResumeCroc’s retained intellectual property. Notwithstanding Section 11.1, ResumeCroc retains all right, title, and interest in and to: (a) the templates, frameworks, methodologies, processes, and systems used to produce Deliverables; (b) all Site content, including text, graphics, design elements, trade marks, and the ResumeCroc brand; (c) all pre-existing intellectual property incorporated into Deliverables (except for content derived directly from information supplied by you); and (d) any aggregated, anonymised, or de-identified learnings derived from delivering Services. Nothing in these Terms transfers to you any right in ResumeCroc’s intellectual property beyond the limited assignment described in Section 11.1.

11.3 No resale of Deliverables. You may not resell, sublicense, distribute, or commercially exploit your Deliverables in any way. Your Deliverables are personal to you and are licensed for your individual career-search use only. Resale or distribution of Deliverables to third parties (including selling them on freelance platforms) is a material breach of these Terms.

11.4 Site content. All content on the Site — including text, images, graphics, blog posts, resume samples, and branding — is owned by or licensed to ResumeCroc and is protected by US and international copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission.

11.5 Feedback. If you provide us with suggestions, ideas, or feedback about our Services or the Site, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use that feedback for any purpose without any obligation to you.

Section 12. Confidentiality

12.1 How we treat your information. We treat all information you share with us in connection with your Order — including your personal details, career history, employment information, and any supporting documents you upload — as confidential. We will not share your personal information with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy or as required by applicable law.

12.2 Internal use by our team. Your information may be accessed by the ResumeCroc writers, editors, and support staff who are working on your Order, on a need-to-know basis. All team members are bound by confidentiality obligations consistent with these Terms.

12.3 Anonymised training and quality use. ResumeCroc may use anonymised and de-identified excerpts from Deliverables — meaning excerpts from which all personally identifying information has been removed — for internal quality-assurance purposes, writer training, and the development of service templates and methodologies. We will not use any excerpt that could identify you individually without your express prior consent.

12.4 Data protection. Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of the agreement between us. Please review that policy to understand how we collect, use, store, and transfer your personal data, and what rights you have in relation to it.

Section 13. Acceptable Use

13.1 Permitted use. You may use the Site and our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree to use the Site and Services in good faith and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use or enjoyment of the Site.

13.2 Prohibited conduct. You must not:

  • Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information about your identity, qualifications, employment history, or any other aspect of your background.
  • Use the Services to produce documents that misrepresent your credentials to any employer, institution, or licensing body.
  • Use the Site or Services for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to fraud, identity theft, or any activity that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, our servers, or any database or system connected to the Site.
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code into the Site or our systems.
  • Use automated tools (including scrapers, bots, or crawlers) to extract content from the Site without our prior written consent.
  • Harass, threaten, abuse, or intimidate any member of our team or any other user of the Site.
  • Post, upload, or transmit any content to us that infringes the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit your Deliverables or any Site content (see Section 11).
  • Conduct any activity that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our servers or infrastructure.

13.3 Consequences of breach. A breach of this Section 13 is a material breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to terminate your Account, cancel any pending Orders (with or without refund depending on the circumstances), and take any legal action we consider appropriate, including seeking damages and injunctive relief.

Section 14. Third-Party Services

14.1 Overview. ResumeCroc uses trusted third-party services to operate the Site and deliver the Services. By using the Site, you acknowledge that these third-party services may process your data or interact with your browser. ResumeCroc is not responsible for the practices of these third parties beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.

14.2 Stripe (payments). Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. When you enter your payment details on the Site, those details are transmitted directly to Stripe using industry-standard TLS encryption. Stripe’s use of your payment information is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy and Stripe’s terms of service. ResumeCroc does not store your full card number or security code.

14.3 Hostinger (hosting and SMTP). Our Site is hosted on servers operated by Hostinger International Ltd. Order-confirmation and notification emails are sent via Hostinger’s SMTP infrastructure. Hostinger’s terms and privacy policy apply to their services.

14.4 Cloudflare (CDN and security). We use Cloudflare, Inc. to deliver Site content quickly and securely. Cloudflare may process request data (including IP addresses) as part of its content delivery and security functions. Cloudflare’s terms and privacy policy govern their data handling.

14.5 NitroPack (performance optimisation). We use NitroPack to optimise Site performance, including caching and asset compression. NitroPack may process certain request data as part of its caching infrastructure.

14.6 External links. The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including employer job boards, professional associations, and resource sites. These links are provided for your convenience only. ResumeCroc does not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for the content or practices of any external website. Your access to and use of external sites is at your own risk and subject to those sites’ own terms.

Section 15. Disclaimer of Warranties

15.1 Services provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Site and Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. ResumeCroc expressly disclaims all implied warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

15.2 No guarantee of employment outcomes. ResumeCroc does not guarantee that use of your Deliverables will result in employment, job interviews (except as described in the 45-day guarantee in Section 9), salary increases, promotions, or any other specific career outcome. The job market is affected by many factors outside our control, including economic conditions, employer preferences, the number of competing applicants, and your own interview performance. Our Services improve the quality and presentation of your career documents — they do not guarantee a particular employment result.

15.3 No warranty as to ATS compatibility. While we apply current best-practice knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) when producing your Deliverables, we cannot guarantee that your Deliverable will achieve a specific score, ranking, or pass rate in any particular ATS system. ATS configurations vary widely between employers and are subject to change.

15.4 No warranty as to Site availability. We do not warrant that the Site will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free at all times. Planned and unplanned maintenance, hosting issues, or third-party service outages may affect Site availability. We will endeavour to restore the Site as quickly as possible in the event of an outage.

15.5 Jurisdictional limits. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain implied warranties. If you are located in such a jurisdiction, some of the exclusions in this Section 15 may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by law.

Section 16. Limitation of Liability

16.1 Cap on liability. To the maximum extent permitted by Wyoming law and applicable federal law, ResumeCroc’s total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms, your Account, or the Services — whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other theory — is limited to the total amounts you paid to ResumeCroc in the six (6) calendar months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

16.2 Exclusion of consequential damages. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ResumeCroc will not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: loss of profits; loss of revenue; loss of business opportunities; loss of data; loss of goodwill; costs of substitute services; or any damages arising from missed employment opportunities, failed job applications, or career setbacks, even if ResumeCroc has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

16.3 Essential basis of the bargain. You acknowledge that the limitations of liability in this Section 16 reflect a reasonable and fair allocation of risk between you and ResumeCroc, and are an essential element of the basis of the bargain between us. Without these limitations, ResumeCroc would not be able to offer the Services at the prices we charge.

16.4 Jurisdictional limits. Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion or limitation of certain categories of damages. If you are located in such a jurisdiction, some of the limitations in this Section 16 may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Section 17. Indemnification

17.1 Your indemnification obligations. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ResumeCroc, Splash Sol LLC, and their respective officers, members, employees, contractors, agents, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your use of the Site or Services in violation of these Terms;
  • Any information you provided to us that is false, misleading, inaccurate, or incomplete;
  • Any violation by you of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right (including intellectual property rights and privacy rights);
  • Any misuse of your Deliverables, including using them to misrepresent your credentials to any employer or institution;
  • Any claim brought by a third party arising from content, information, or materials you submitted to us.

17.2 ResumeCroc’s right to control defence. ResumeCroc reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with our reasonable requests in connection with that defence. You may not settle any claim covered by this Section 17 without our prior written consent.

Section 18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

18.1 Governing law. These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

18.2 Venue. Subject to Section 19 (Dispute Resolution), each party irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, for the resolution of any disputes not subject to arbitration or small-claims proceedings. You waive any objection to the laying of venue in those courts and any claim that proceedings in those courts have been brought in an inconvenient forum.

18.3 International clients. If you are accessing the Site from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with your local laws to the extent they are applicable. ResumeCroc makes no representation that the Services are appropriate or available for use in all jurisdictions.

Section 19. Dispute Resolution

19.1 Informal resolution first. Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, the party asserting a dispute must first provide written notice to the other party describing the nature of the dispute and the relief sought (“Dispute Notice”). The parties will then have thirty (30) calendar days from the date of the Dispute Notice to attempt to resolve the dispute informally and in good faith. This informal resolution period is a condition precedent to arbitration or litigation.

19.2 Binding arbitration. If a dispute is not resolved informally within the 30-day period described in Section 19.1, it will be finally and exclusively resolved by binding arbitration conducted in the State of Wyoming under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) Commercial Arbitration Rules (or, at our election, the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules where applicable). The arbitration will be conducted by a single, neutral arbitrator. The arbitrator’s decision will be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

19.3 Small-claims exception. Notwithstanding Section 19.2, either party may choose to bring an individual claim in a small-claims court of competent jurisdiction in Sheridan County, Wyoming (or in the county of your residence, if permitted by the applicable small-claims rules), provided the claim falls within the jurisdictional limits of that court and is not part of a class or representative action.

19.4 Class-action waiver. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings — whether in arbitration or in court — will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding. If applicable law prohibits this waiver in a specific case, the class-action component of that case may be severed and heard in court while the individual claims proceed in arbitration.

19.5 Costs of arbitration. The allocation of arbitration fees and costs between the parties will be governed by the applicable AAA rules. Where required by law (for example, under consumer-protection rules), ResumeCroc will bear any filing fees and arbitrator’s compensation above those that would be payable in a small-claims court.

Our preference: We would always rather resolve an issue quickly and fairly than escalate it. If you have a problem with your Order, please contact us first — most issues are resolved within a few business days.

Section 20. Modifications to These Terms

20.1 Our right to update. ResumeCroc reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time and for any reason, including to reflect changes in our Services, pricing, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make a material change to these Terms, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and may, at our discretion, provide additional notice (such as an email notification to registered Account holders or a banner on the Site).

20.2 Effect of updates. The revised Terms will take effect as of the date posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site or Services after that date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with a revised version of the Terms, you must stop using the Site and Services and, if applicable, close your Account.

20.3 Checking for updates. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. The most current version is always available at https://resumecroc.com/terms-and-conditions/.

Section 21. Severability, Waiver & Entire Agreement

21.1 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or arbitrator of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed from these Terms if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions of these Terms will continue in full force and effect.

21.2 No waiver. ResumeCroc’s failure or delay in enforcing any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. A waiver of any particular right or provision in a specific instance does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision in any future instance.

21.3 Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any Order-specific documentation (such as your order-confirmation email), constitute the entire agreement between you and ResumeCroc with respect to the Site and Services, and supersede all prior discussions, representations, negotiations, or agreements — whether oral or written — relating to the same subject matter.

21.4 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to any other person without our prior written consent. ResumeCroc may assign these Terms, or any rights or obligations under them, to any affiliate, successor, or acquirer of all or substantially all of our business or assets, without your consent.

21.5 No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights. Only you and ResumeCroc are parties to this agreement.

21.6 Force majeure. Neither party will be in breach of these Terms or liable for any failure or delay in performance to the extent that such failure or delay is caused by events outside that party’s reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, labour disputes, internet or power outages, pandemic-related restrictions, or acts of government. The affected party will notify the other party as soon as practicable and resume performance as soon as the force-majeure event has passed.
